Sicky: Medical Certificate

Not helpful. I wasn't told at the time they only provide a Cert for 2days total. I would have otherwise arranged for another cert on the third day if I knew about it. When I realised the day after I contacted them again. I was told in a rude and short manner they couldn't comment to what happened to me and couldnt do anything about it. I lost out on a day's worth of sick pay, $350 is a lot of money. I recommend using other services available that might offer a better bedside manner.

Contacted same pharmacy twice. Was cut off abruptly both times. Third contact was successful. Pharmacist on the other end seemed uninterested. Asked what I wanted. I said I needed 2 days medical certificate. He said "can only do same day certificate only." Interaction only took a few seconds. After a few minutes of wait I received a notification. "Rejected." Okay. I get there are two results in any request. This app is designed to make it quick and easy right? Yep. Did i get what I needed. Nope

1st time user. Quite happy with this app. Yeah it costs almost $20 per session but it really it's worth it, and makes life so much easier. You know how bloody annoying it is just to find and book an available local GP and then go wait around for ages for you name to be called out, just to be there for 5-10mins talk for a doc cert. Yeah stuff that. It's a waste of time on you and the docs. This app makes chasing a doc cert simple and time saving.

Couldn't connect to a professional. Puts me in the queue then sends a notification that there is a doctor trying to call, i click the notification and it says "timed out". This has happened 14 times, inconveniencing myself and the doctors. Un-installed the app and re-downloaded it and that seemed to fix the issue.

The last thing you feel like when you're unwell is queuing at a GP or pharmacy for a medical certificate, let alone risk infecting anyone else's health. The Sicky app is fantastic - I was connected to a professional in seconds and was really impressed with the process and speed. Would highly recommend!
