About this app

The ResidentPortal app provides a convenient way to pay rent, submit maintenance orders with photos, and communicate with your apartment community all from your mobile phone. Residents have the ability to pay rent with a single tap, manage one-time or recurring rent payments and receive rent reminder push notifications with the app (see below for a list of key features). Much of the ResidentPortal app is configurable by the property in which you live. Property settings include, but are not limited to, payment methods, payment days, full balance payment requirements, or maintenance request availability. ResidentPortal App Features: • Make a One Time Payment - Easily submit a one time payment with the same trusted payment platform you have always used. • Add/Delete Recurring Payments - Easily schedule new auto-payments ensuring your rent will never be late. • One-Tap Pay - Pay rent with a single tap right from your smartphone. When it works, it works well. However, god forbid you move to a new location that also uses this app. My old place STILL shows up as the first option (ive moved out), while my current place doesn't even show up! When I try the web version, it only works half of the time (doing the same thing as the app.) Also, the sending-a-code login option never seems to work either, so good luck if you forgot your password.

The app isn't bad but there is a glaring problem. There is no confirm payment prompts nor a way to cancel a payment after posting. So if you split rent with a roommate and you accidentally pay the whole rent, there is no way (at the time of this writing) to fix it. Please add a prompt "Are you sure you want to pay ____?" It's 4 lines of code and would make life easier.

Won't even let me MAKE an account. Keeps giving me an error. I don't know how else I can pay my rent which is coming up soon because they only use this app. Tried multiple emails, multiple passwords, and nothing has come of it. It was ridiculous and frustrating and I'm at my limit. Waste of time and it seems like no one can solve my issue.

It was super hard to create an account. It kept telling me that the password wasn't a valid one but not why. When I finally got an acceptable one, it told me that it "did not match the password on file." How can that be possible when I'm on the "Create Account" page? Also, the app doesn't seem to show upcoming payments that are due. The app took literally 10 minutes to install and my phone had plentry of space. Also, why does it need all of those permissions. Some of those are creepy.

App is the most inconvenient app I've ever had the displeasure of using. I split rent with a family member and I have 2 saved payment methods, but when I try to pay the other half it says I have none. I can't pay the other half of my rent. Then I notice a $7 "convenience" fee. So basically I paid $7 for a headache. I've left feedback with no contact. I even left this review once before. Waste of time and money. Cash app doesn't charge me that much to instant pay out. Terrible app.
