Design Space: DIY with Cricut

The app always crashes the cutting machine most the time just rips my paper up so I think I spent more time and money and got nothing out of it. the machines are really expensive! And all I see on here is oh we're sorry about your experience blah blah blah then why don't you fix it. cuz I'm pretty mad that this was supposed to be a fun thing to do and turned into an expensive aggravating experience.

I used to prefer the mobile app to the desktop version, but not anymore. The UI is the opposite of inuitive, and the menus coming down from the top literally make it impossible to move text around once it's there because the menu blocks the text entirely. Everything feels cluttered and difficult to work with, and the constant push to join the subscription is super annoying. Why do I need to say no each time I use the app and sometimes just when going to a new page in it?

Honestly, I sometimes wish I had gotten the silhouette cutting machine instead. Cricut doesn't really improve much. Their app is not user-friendly. No customization of the tools in the app. They make it where you can't save what you made to use outside the app. Then will be like "well it's not like you'll use any other company". They also seem to purposely make their Matt's very sticky so that customers will give up and buy new ones. (But the off brand mats, they are much better)

This app is complete garbage. And the Cricut Maker 4 is pretty useless too. Can't even cut Cricut Value Cardstock without tearing it to shreds. I'm so mad I wasted my money on this machine and all the monthly payments I make for this terrible app. I am CANCELLING my subscription! I will be working solely with the Loklik IdeaStudio from now on! It's way better, way cheaper, and way more functional. The PC software lags so bad, I can't even do anything with it, the mobile app is hard to navigate.

I used to use the android app because it was easier and more convenient. Now I can't use it at all. Two updates ago, something kept me from being able to move things without clicking a bunch of times. I was super excited to see the newest update cause surely they fixed that! No 👎 Its worse now. It crashes all the time, that is if it opens at all. I've done all thr possible troubleshooting and its just trash.
