Google Meet

Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

EXTRA STEPS WITH LESS PERKS!!! It used to be 5 stars but now idk what's going on with the app. I've deleted and reinstalled this app several times and it still glitches. We are no longer able to send photos/vids to older family members, and there's no notification for calls. You have to open the app just to check to see if someone call instead of it showing like a regular phone call notification. And why do we have to keep sending links to call someone it's ridiculous.

My recent call list suddenly disappeared and I can't make calls anymore. every time I click on a name, it says the contact cannot receive calls and asks me to create a link and share it with them instead. I have tried every single solution: I have restarted my phone, cleared the catch and data, synced my contacts, force-stopped the app, etc. I even sent feedback through the app but no one replied.

I can't make calls! Since all the changes, I have been going through it with this app. Now, I make a call and have to wait for the person I called to call me back because apparently when they answer, it hangs up on me. So frustrating! I'm scared to disable then enable because I lost all my history but somehow it magically reappeared.
