Starbucks UK

Complicated, confusing and a longer checkout process than some insurance companies... basically by the time I've managed to order the coffee through the app, I've already arrived (and so may as well speak in person, at least then you know the order has been seen). The app requires internet to load (not always available) and falls over frequently. a negative experience overall.

Worst App on my device. I'm originally from the states, so I had that Starbucks app- worked flawlessly, earned stars, easy to use. so I had high expectations for the UK app to at least work. WRONG! This app hardly loads, logs you out, has improper information, doesn't let you combine gift card amounts proper. it's the most useless thing. I have to use the Web page login over the app.

Robbery. I had about £14 on the app before it updated and that is now not showing up. It has taken me 3 days to log back in and I've lost all my stars earned too. Not happy. Wished I seen the other reviews but at least I still have my gold status unlike others. Come on sort it out. new addition june 2026 tired of app not opening up and having to reinstall. also can't used saved password to log back in.

This app is a joke. I have app updates disabled, yet Starbucks blocked access until I installed the latest update. This morning I wanted to redeem a free coffee using my reward points, but the app refused to work without updating first. I was stuck in a long queue waiting around 10 minutes for the update while people were rushing to work. Forced updates at the point of purchase are terrible customer service. I uninstalled the app and will be using Costa instead.

Since the latest update, I can't order ahead anymore. There are only 3 options at the bottom. Home, pay and store. In the store section it just gives you directions to store not the option to order to pick up. Rubbish update.
