Full of amazing food :) Most of their recipes are made by the team, so the pictures always look so professional. I used to just browse the app to look at the pictures of food. They've been adding more food lately that is easier to make than when I first got the app, and I've had lots of success so far minus a time or two. I like being able to save recipes into categories for later and the grocery list feature.

I recommend this app to all my fellow food lovers! The articles and how to videos are very helpful and the recipes are clearly written and easy to follow. I especially appreciate that the ingredients for each step are given at the beginning of each step so you don't have to go back to the start for measurements. The built in timers are nice too, and your screen stays open while you are using a recipe. Great range of recipes too, very global. Unusually good vegetarian selection.

The app looks great but as soon as I dove into recipes I found that just about every one was missing units of measurements on a few ingredients saying something along the lines of "2 salt" or in others something like "flour". This was on branded Kitchen Stories recipes and community recipes. I looked through other reviews and couldn't find any with the same frustrating experience. I would love to use the app but just can't at this point.

I feel very disappointed and honestly scammed by this experience. The advertised 7-day free trial was never activated for me. Instead, I was charged immediately without any trial period. That is misleading and not transparent. Secondly, the next payment is scheduled exactly one month after the first charge. If there is supposed to be a 7-day free trial, the next payment should logically be after 5 weeks (1 month + 7 free days), not just 1 month.

I’ve used this app for a long time and was generally very happy with it. Recently, though, recipes have been changed completely without notice, which makes the app unreliable for me. Just a few days ago my favourite matcha tiramisu was suddenly converted into a vegan version overnight. I don’t understand this approach, why not offer both a standard and a vegan version instead of replacing the original? I’m now looking for a new app, but I’d prefer not to lose access to the recipes I already like
