My Medibank

Clunky, unreliable, interface is not good. Text for the messaging part is really small and hard to read, and the last time I use it the app kept crashing while I was trying to have a conversation with someone. The automated response system is TERRIBLE ("Help making a claim" "Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying" 😡). Worst part is that there's no option for doing it through the website. So bad it's making me want to drop Medibank.

I enjoy using this app a lot to see my limits and make claims on the move. The live better rewards are pretty good too, especially since it often pays 1/4 to 1/2 a year of my extras. the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it is very annoying every time I click to register an activity to do, I get asked to turn on notifications. you should give a way to opt out of that, especially if you're activating 4 or 5 at a time.

I found my original review from 2017 where it continually kept hoing around in a loop and I gave it a 1 star review. With updates since it has improved considerably to the point where I can do almost everything in the palm of my hand without having to go in store. The security has improved considerably also. Consequently I have now increased the rating to a 5 but hoping that complacency doesn't set in without thought to some minor tweaks over time.

used to work with device pin to unlock. doesn't work anymore and needs the full password to be entered. it's getting more and more stupid with overboarding security requirements. Else we must use a same password for every app/website (very secure. literally the opposite of what wants to be achieved) or we have to carry around a book with 700'000 pages of passwords. it's ridiculous.

Probably the worst App in the history of apps!! Why in this day and age after giving it all the multiple permissions it asks for do you still have to manually sync your health data which only works less than half the time?? Just got a new phone and transferred the data and won't sync at all now 😡 They charge enough for cover, it's the little things that count in competitive markets. Time to start looking for a new insurer I think...
