Issues at least half the time with ordering on this app. The delivery part is stellar. 300$ dollar order unable to proceed due to being unable to bypass the age verification screen...So the next day ...they raised the prices from the trolley price from 300$ to 354$ overnight unable to purchase the offered price. Highly dishonest practices.

On the plus side you no longer need an app to be able to shop (I downloaded this and then uninstalled once I realised), just go to the New World website and sign in. The downside is an even more heavy and clunky shopping experience than the app ever was. Using the website is so much slower and not the most straightforward experience. Also very surprised that you still cannot see individual product information like ingredient list, nutritional values, and where the product comes from.

ok, but why does the app log you out from time to time. Surely logging in once should be sufficient, put a pin on using saved credit card info if you like, but don't make people have to log in while standing at the checkout trying to swipe their card to access the specials. For this reason alone a lot of people will request plastic cards.

Update: May 2026. I regularly recommend this app. It's really great and if you have issues with it, it must be your device or connection at fault. I use it all the time, adding directly to my shopping basket (instead of a shopping list) until I'm ready to place the order and collect it. Lists are also useful as well as recipes, what one's bought before etc. Can't think of any way it can be improved now. :-D

App does not work at all. After about 3 seconds trying to load I get the message 'opps operation has timed out. Absolutely useless, just like the new Club+ app which takes several minutes to load, if at all. I can no longer shop at Foodstuffs stores.
