It does the basics and that all! Bad: This is a paid version, why I am being shown ads? You cannot silent the ringer if someone calls and you don't want to answer,. Botim doesn't appear to ring unless the app is actually open. Good: it works 70% of the time. Also, be warned. Your phone microphone continues recording after the botim call has ended. This is very concerning and suspicious to me.

I understand the aim is to monetize this, but the ads are too nagging, and sometimes inappropriate. I understand the ads are a reflection of what gets clicks (my ad personalisation is turned off), but still. It's annoying. Also, I use a Bluetooth headset and I always have a problem trying to listen to music after a call. The headset gets stuck in headset mode and I have to reset the Bluetooth connection to make it work properly as stereo headphones. This is not a problem with other apps.

Can't call numbers that are in my address book, can't find contacts that I know I have, some contacts have names that I have never used or saved them as. Phone just doesn't even ring to people you try to call sometimes. This app has so many bugs I didn't even know were possible that it's almost impressive. And through years of operation they've never been fixed.

If I could give negative ratings, I sure would. This app is intended for one use and one use only, voice and video call, and it fails spectacularly at it. If there was another option to speak with loved ones in the Middle East, I would jump to it in a heartbeat. Features that have existed on competing apps for the past decade are still conveniently missing in here. Don't get me started on the intrusive and borderline inappropriate ads being shown in the app.

Customer support is terrible. I'm experiencing this issue with my BOTIM wallet. Your request was rejected due to security or compliance issues, which has disabled all payment options from the wallet. I've sent multiple emails, shared screenshots, and even tried calling customer service, but have received no response. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Ignoring customers like this is extremely irresponsible. And I haven't received any help from the support team yet. I hope BOTIM
