Karrot: Buy & sell locally

A good, safe place to sell unwanted stuff. Price low for sales and expect it to take some time. Some things on the app are weird. Like the app says to push the "leave praise" button but there isn't one. And I still haven't figured out how to leave a written review for other sellers/buyers. But overall, not bad. I'm still new on the app so maybe it will get better with time.

Nice app makes it pretty easy to post items and have a general idea of what you should Post them for and it has a automatic system to lower the price. Until you get interest in the item, that's a pretty cool option. Also I have not ran into any obvious scammers, and not any of the men just being Gro.\nSs , because I am a woman and making it about selling other things that aren't the items I have posted or something like that , which is incredibly frustrating and very common on other sites.

First of all, you may set a selling price, but they keep dropping your price DAILY!! Every day it doesn't sell they drop the price another dollar!! I don't like that and I didn't agree to that!! And they constantly bother you with notifications that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LISTING! I GOT 3 NOTIFICATIONS WITHIN A 2 HOUR PERIOD - none of which had anything to do with my listing!! They brag about this app on TV, but I found it INCREDIBLY ANNOYING!! Deleted the app in less than 2 days!!

This app was working until I updated it two days ago. It logged me out and I'm having a hard time logging back in. After trying several times, about four times, you loose your chance to try again until Next day. I momentarily logged in yesterday and responded to a buyer and when I was going to post some items, it logged me off again. I'm trying again but I don't receive the verification code tru text. There's nothing about the subject on the help section. I'm about to uninstall it for good.

I am in NYC and was moving. I posted several items that were far cheaper than what they sell for usually. Some of the items even for free. All I got was one message from a user saying "I am interested" and then nothing for weeks. Everything got sold on FB Marketplace. This app is dead. If things don't sell in NYC, I wonder how it works in the suburbs. Don't waste your time on this one. FB Marketplace sucks, but that is the only better solution so far uess you want to get scammed on Craigslist.
