Tried to set up an account using the app. It's almost like Q-Park don't want people to use it. Prevented from adding a payment method as it keeps sending me to a broken link that tells me the "transaction can't be found". Then I read the reviews. I'm deleting the app and deleting my account. Just use the pay machines, the hoops this app makes you jump through are not worth the pain.

app fine but watch out for discounted rates! I get a discounted day rate through work. £8.50 a day roughly. it recognises my number plate and charges automatically. that seems to work fine. the problem is if I pop in for a shorter visit, which can be a lot less than £8.50 (eg £3 for less than an hour) it defaults to the daily rate! I've just found out I've been scammed for £8.50 for a 20 mins park. customer services refusing to do anything. really cheese off.

First time parking abroad (in France) and I was pleasantly surprised that the gate opened automatically for me even before I pulled a ticket from the machine. A little bit unsure about whether I had to pull a ticket, I decided not to. And when leaving the underground parking after a few hours the gate swung open as soon as I arrived there. Brilliant experience, no fuss with tickets. And you can also produce a QR code from the app when you need one for entering the parking by foot.

KEEP DRIVING, DO NOT PARK! Q-Park Motto! The only positive aspect on the Q-Park app is NO transaction costs. For the rest it is completely worthless as it most frequently does not show locations so you can't park. Moreover notifications on your parking sessions (although allowed in your settings) are not send so you are confronted with 24 hour parking charges for which you forgot to turn the session off. Very annoying! Also the standard set licence plate number is not used! DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Just been on holiday to Weymouth and we use this carpark every year. The carpark is secured overnight. This time we found out it was taken over just recently by Q-Park. We spoke to someone from the carpark and there is an app to make it easy for you to enter & exit the car park by using your registration number. Just type your car reg into their app and a credit/debit card and you can enter/exit any Q-Parks and you will be charged for the time you use. No need to use a pay machine again.
