Why on earth would you want a television app locked into portrait mode. Lazy programming. Don't make changes for change's sake. If you're going to replace something, make sure it's an improvement, otherwise leave it be. But that's a core problem with the TV industry, so willing to drop something that works in order to chase the next big hit (which usually doesn't work out).

You've gotta expect this "free! Free! FREE!!!" app would expect us to sit through a few ads, but they are way too many WAY too often, plus everything seems to be locked down. The only things that are free! Free! FREE!!! are short clips for shows you can't watch without paying for the premium package. I quickly deleted the app but I just know they're now gonna bombard me with emails that are also misleading (i.e. lying) so I'll have to block that, too. Why did I even think it would be different?

I downloaded the app to watch the most recent season of a series. Out of the 4 episodes I was able to watch, 2 of them were glitching like crazy making it difficult to follow the dialog. Trying to rewind near ad placement means you'll be watching all 6 ads again, and I was made to sign in again for each episode as well. But the worst part is that when you sign up they don't give you any information about the "credits" they use until you're all out of them and you can't refill them in any way.

As TV apps go, NBC is pretty well set up and easy to use, although it's a little glitchy. Sometimes there's a weird skipping ahead on shows. Sometimes there's no sound. I find that most of the time, if I close the app and reopen it, that usually resolves the problem. Once in a while, it seems to disconnect from my cable TV provider account, so I have to reconnect it. But I use the app a lot and am generally satisfied.

Keeps hanging up, way too slow. way too many ads. I would uninstall but it's the only way i can watch my show. it hangs up so much i can't even get through one episode. Update as of November 2019. This app is still absolutely horrible. Don't rewind 10 seconds or you'll have to watch 10 minutes worth of commercials. The app is constantly buffering, then you have to watch 10 more minutes of commercials. it will also start you off in some random spot in the middle of an episode.
