I had been using this app for the better part of five years with nearly no issues (one switched bulb would occasionally have to be re-discovered, likewise the camera, though rarely). The interface was good - I could switch and dim lights and check my camera, either locally or remotely. I opened the app a couple weeks ago and was prompted for a PW, email, and location information. Instead of providing that, I de-installed the app and donated the hardware to the nearest thrift store. It's broken.

Device consistently turns off. I've been using this service for years, a smart plug for one lightbulb. Recently, the automation stopped working. When I manually press the button, the light stays on for a few seconds before shutting off; I can no longer control operation from the app. What's the point?!

Had the doorbell camera for a couple of weeks until a power outage came, now it won't reconnect no matter how many times I hard reset or uninstall and reinstall the app. On top of that, you can't even view everything you want on playback and it often misses catching the beginning of the motion even with settings on high. I was very disappointed in this product. Will not buy from this company again. Absolutely trash.

Frequently misses recording motion events yet other times it will record motion. Made in china, I assume? Also when it does playback a few moments of motion, it will stop and say there are no more recordings for the day Even Though ten minutes later I'm walking back into the room. I reset multiple times, cleared cache and this is simply a poor quality product. I have another style/model camera by the same company. It's even worse! I put that one in the trash. This product is not recommended!

I have been a Geeni customer for a few years now, and at first it was lovely. now, I'm not sure if I even still like it. I can't check my cameras when I am not home/connected to wifi, and it never used to be like that. I have uninstalled/re-installed the app several times and it still messes up the same way. "encryption timed out". I do not know what has happened with this company but you are really starting to loose customers because of the constant issues that customers are facing w/o resolve
